Research Students
Carl Livingston
Carl is an incoming freshman who just joined the lab. Carl plans to develop a project investigating the ecology and physiology of invasive wall lizards in NJ
Nauera Abou Abdou
Nauera joined the lab in 2019. She starts Dental School in the fall of 2023. Her research project examines the role of glucocorticoids in the glycemic response to stress in snakes.

Donovan Holly
Donny is an Environmental Science major and joined the lab in 2020. He is working on improved methods to study the ecology of local turtles in southern NJ. He plans to graduate in 2022 and go on to a career in ecology.
Shannon Kelley
Shannon started her project on the acute glycemic response to capture stress in northern water snake, Nerodia sipedon. She plans to graduate in May 2020 and go on to graduate school.

Kathryn McLoughlin
Katie joined the lab in 2018. After graduation she plans to either attend medical school or OT school. She is working on a prject describing the thermal performance of immune function in snakes.
The Original Members
Samuel Allay, Christopher Bajada, Haillee Ansizzi, Alina Bajaran, and Destin Nufable (left to right) joined the lab in my first year at Stockton. All completed research on endocrinology and immune function in snakes afflicted with ophidiomycosis. All have since graduated and moved on to promising careers in healthcare.
Samantha Rachel
Sam is working on a project aimed at characterizing the cellular response to an immune challenge in snakes. She plans to apply to medical school and pursue a career in neurology.
Xin Rou (Natalie) Tan
Natalie Joined the lab in 2020. She is now in her first year of veterinary school. Her research focuses on components of the immune system and how these components differ among reptile groups.
Matthew Mershon
Matt Joined the lab in 2020. He plans to either apply to graduate school after graduation. His project aims to describe the thermal performance of immune function in turtles.

Nilanjana Das
Nila is an aspiring marine biologists with an interest in physiological ecology. She joined the lab in 2018 and is working on a project describing the thermal performance of immune function in snakes. She has since moved on to a Masters program at the University of Oregon.
Binh Dang
Binh is an undergraduate at Northeastern University. In the summer of 2019, Binh joined out lab for a summer research experience on the physiology of stress in Northern Watersnakes.
